A long story
The Kohler family set up its first weaving plant in Ménil Thillot (Vosges, France) in 1840. A second production facility was established in Ferdrupt in the middle of the 20th century, 15km from the first site.
The commercial subsidiary Telatex was set up to market the finished products in the Nineties.
With 160 years of experience in fabrics engineering and production, Telatex is still managed today by a member of the Kohler family (6th generation).
Our subsidiaries and partner factories
The products we design are developed via our network of partner factories located in France, Europe, Tunisia, Turkey and Pakistan.
We manage production engineering, quality control and production schedules for efficient delivery of your productions. We offer a storage facility of over 4000 m² in the East of France.
Our Labels
- As a Member of industry trade body Securofeu, our flame-resistant fabrics are covered by a Test Report issued by an approved laboratory ;
- Telatex has also OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 (CQ 1134/1, CQ 1134/3, CQ 1134/4 et CQ 1134/5 – IFTH) and GOTS certified products ;
- As an approved partner in the Vosges area, Telatex has also products with France Terre Textile / Vosges Terre Textile label.
